SEAI launches interactive data tool on Ireland’s energy trends

An energy data portal of particular interest to researchers, students and policy makers.

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has launched an interactive energy data portal where visitors can explore Ireland’s energy use since 1990 and bring trends and insights to life. The visualisation tool uses data and figures from SEAI’s flagship publications on energy statistics and projections. This exciting new channel brings together the trends and information in a user-friendly and accessible format.

The interactive charts provide visitors with an easy interface to investigate energy use across different fuels and sectors of the economy such as households, industry, transport, public and commercial sectors. It is also possible to explore energy trends in Ireland since 1990, how energy use has evolved over time and projections out to 2030.
