The EU-funded project, ExcEED – standing for “European Energy Efficient building district Database”-, promises to establish a robust and durable return of knowledge mechanism collecting actual buildings energy performance data and providing information to designers, energy managers and policy makers.
Database and tools
The database will be able to gather and categorise a range of diverse data coming from building monitoring systems, projects, building managers, public authorities, other European databases as well as Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) surveys. This will constitute the so-called Knowledge Base.
Displaying geo-localised data to inform designers, operators, construction sector agents, policy makers and legislative bodies.
Environmental Quality Tool
An IEQ survey developed to integrate measured data with information coming from the “most valuable sensor in a building”, its occupants.
Delivering clear, simple actionable insights on building performances and operation, thus supporting building managers & owners.
Statistical Analysis Tool
Directly linked to the database and its KPIs, to perform core statistical analysis and enhance the return of knowledge process.
